Cord Tubes!

I have a lot of USB and charging cords all over the place. Let's face it, that's our lives now.
But it drives my OCD NUTS!!

I stumbled across this idea using toilet paper rolls and tried it. Worked out great!

Here's how:

I got a few toilet paper rolls out of a box I've been saving them in. Yes saving them. I've made a few other things from them so I started saving them because I'm a psycho bitch and I figured one day I will need them....well that day came! So don't judge me.

Then I painted them black because they look ugly plain. You can paint them any color you like but I had a lot of black paint.

Here they are. After they dried I put them in a basket I keep on my desk. Rolled up the cords I use often and stuck them inside......So neat!! I'm thinking I might even whip out my label maker and label the tubes. But that may be a bit much. And my family thinks I'm crazy enough as it is.  Now I need to make more for my junk draws!

  2. I do that - so handy - they are never tangled when you need them. It also works on the cords of curling irons and hair dryers. I like your idea to paint them. What about labeling them with the cord length?
